Skin booster treatments aim to improve skin hydration, elasticity, and overall quality. These treatments work beneath the skin's surface to provide deep hydration and stimulate collagen production, enhancing skin texture, radiance, and firmness. Profhilo and Redensity 1 are both hyaluronic acid based whereas polynucleotides are small fragments of DNA which signal to your cells to lay down collagen. They all have specific benefits eg polynucleotides are great for reducing inflammation and can be used under the eye whereas Profhilo is better for hydration but wouldn't be my first choice in a roscaea or acne patient. Most people would describe skin booster injections as a sting rather than painful. The sting is from the stretching of the skin so the slower the injection, the less painful it is. I would rate it as 5/10 on the pain scale and the sting only lasts about 10 seconds and is gone.
