Chemical Peel Treatment Bishops Waltham
At our clinic, we offer two chemical peel treatments designed to rejuvenate and improve your skin’s appearance. Conveniently located across Bishops Waltham, Otterbourne, Stockbridge, and Alresford, we provide both medium-depth and superficial peels, tailored to suit your individual skin concerns and lifestyle.
What Are They?
I use two different types of peels in my clinic. Firstly The Perfect Peel which is a medium depth chemical peel using a blend of acids. There is some downtime associated as your skin goes quite red and tight then peels on days 3-5, leaving beautiful, healthy skin by day 7. You will get benefit from one peel but I highly recommend a course of at least three peels every four weeks for maximum benefit.
I also love the Obagi Blue Peel Radiance which is a superficial salicylic acid peel with little to no downtime. This is perfect if you can't commit to any downtime as after a course of six peels, your skin looks glowy, healthy and pigmentation is reduced.

Are They Painful?
Chemical peels aren't painful but they do feel very hot on the skin. I give my patients a handheld fan, which they can control, for comfort. The heat increases and then subsides. I always talk to my patients about how they're feeling and that helps guide how many layers of the peel I apply.
How Long Is Each Session?
Each chemical peel session lasts around 30-45 minutes.
